Who we are

Cosmias is operated by STARTIONS LLP. Cosmias is a listing and workflow platform: it does not receive, hold or pass on donations, CSR funds, audit fees or carbon credits.

Donations

Donations are paid to the NGO's own account through its own payment gateway. Each NGO publishes its own refund policy on its page. 80G receipts are issued by the NGO under its own registration; check eligibility with your tax adviser.

Personal data

We collect only what each role needs. Donors' PAN and address are encrypted and used only for 80G receipts. Beneficiaries' faces and names are hidden on public pages unless consent is recorded; children are never identified. STARTIONS' student teams see counts only. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act; write to us to see, correct or delete your data.

Ratings

Ratings are computed from evidence on Cosmias using the published method. NGOs can see every change and its reason and may appeal through the contact page.

Green Points and carbon credits

Green Points are a recognition score, not a carbon credit or financial instrument, and have no cash value. Carbon-credit companies listed on Cosmias sell and retire credits on their registries, directly with buyers.
