How Cosmias rates NGOs
A score from 0 to 5 built only from evidence on Cosmias: registrations, receipts, proof, audits and feedback. Every NGO sees why its score moved.
Six areas

| Financial transparency | 25% | 80G receipts issued for eligible donations; spend reported with proof; audit scores |
| Programme delivery and proof | 25% | Proof updates in the last year and how many an auditor verified |
| Governance and reporting | 10% | Proof in the last 90 days, campaigns paused after complaints, open audit findings |
| Volunteer experience | 10% | Volunteers' ratings after events they attended |
| Donor and funder feedback | 10% | Donors' ratings of what their gift did |
A certified audit's scores replace the computed ones for the areas it scored. Weights are Cosmias' starting proposal and will be reviewed with NGOs and auditors.

Money
Donations and CSR funds go straight to the NGO's own account through its own gateway. Audit fees go straight to the auditor. Cosmias earns only from NGO and CSR packages, and takes no commission.
